Package: intel-gpu-tools
Version: 1.0.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I'm trying to run intel_gpu_top on my machine with HD3000 intel graphics
and I get a strange error message:

root@brain:~# intel_gpu_top
Couldn't map MMIO region: No such file or directory

If I do an strace on it, I don't see any problematic calls or return
codes, so I'm not sure what is causing this problem. My video hardware is
as follows:

root@brain:~# lspci -vnn -s 00:02.00

Hi Joseph,
We are preparing the new 1.1 release. Maybe it will fix this issue. If
you are capable of building from source can you please try it out?

Best regards,

Hi Tormod,

Yes, I am able to build from your git tree, although I can't figure out
git-buildpackage and it seems that there's no debian/install... In any
case, I compiled and tried and it does work for me.

Thanks,

If you want binary packages, you can run "debuild -b -us -uc" or
"debian/rules binary" in the git checkout. But simply testing the
binaries from the build directory is good enough for verifying your
issue has been resolved. Thanks.

I just discovered there is missing an *.install file in our git tree,
that's why making binary packages failed, I believe.
