Agreed. Moreover, this is basically undefined behavior, possibly
with security implications (who knows...).
The same issue, bug 832077, was reassigned to libgtk-3-0, but it
will just be "fixed" by silencing the warning. As

should be resolved by the app developer. Still, to keep people

(accidentally got omitted in 3.22.0)
So, the real bug is in the applications.
