Dear Maintainer,
I expected libvips to support avif format, but the version provided by
"libvips42/unstable,now 8.14.3-1 arm64" do not seem to support AVIF nor HEIF.
Using "vips" command line tool (from libvips-tools package), I get the
following message
$ vips copy momonga.png momonga.avif
heifsave: Unsupported compression
although I think all dependencies are correctly setup, general recommendation
seems to be to recompile the library (not tried yet).
