Bug#980833: geany-plugins: markdown-plugin is missing

Package: geany-plugin-markdown Version: 1.33 When I install geany and all plugins available, markdown cannot be chosen in the geany plugin-manager because the plugin is simply missing. After compiling geany manually and also the plugins, markdown was available... Must be a dependency problem at debian with a missing library somehow...? Best regards, Simon Widmer

Hello,
Just a little ping that this is still an issue.
There is no Markdown preview for .md files, I have made sure that the filetype
is Markdown source file.
Also, in Geany the menu alternative Plugin Preferences is greyed out.
As earlier mentioned, is there any missing dependencies?
I have not investigated further as I am not using Geany very often.

Works for me, now.
After fiddling around a little more I noticed that I had no plugins activated
under Tools > Plugin Manager.
(I thought that was what Edit > Plugin Preferences was for... Silly me.)
Anyway, the preferences option is no longer greyed-out and the plugin works.
Sorry for the noise. Perhaps the bug can be closed?
