The new meson version breaks things that uses the gnome module to
update the icon cache.

Specifically, it requires gtk4-update-icon-cache which is only
recommended by gtk4 and the Debian buildds don't install recommends by
default. However, both gtk3 and gtk4 indirectly depend on
gtk-update-icon-cache

Therefore, please cherry-pick this commit:

This has already been tagged for the .1 release:

https://github.com/mesonbuild/meson/milestone/79?closed=1

Is that sufficient or do you need an interim distropatch upload?

I think it's only a fairly small number of Debian apps affected. I can
manually add the extra Build-Depends if I need to do a quicker upload
of affected packages.
