Package: netdata
Version: 1.29.3-4
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

Upon start the netdata.service unit reports:

Aug 20 16:44:09 dot systemd[1]: /lib/systemd/system/netdata.service:55: Standard output type syslog+console is obsolete, automatically updating to journal+console. Please update your unit file, and consider removing the setting altogether.

This is due to:

StandardOutput=syslog+console
StandardError=syslog+console

in the unit file. Overriding via `systemctl edit netdata.service` and
specifying `journal+console` instead removes the warning on a (re)start.

thank you for reporting, this has been fixed in above version in July
2021 already, thus marking the bug as fixed.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I realised this *might* be fixed in
testing/unstable, but didn't have the means to quickly check. So I
figured a searchable bug report to state the situation for others would
help.
