Dear Debian TeX Maintainers,

Please allow texi2dvi to pass the shell-escape option to tex,
pdflatex, etc. See this thread (with patch):

The patch contained some references to tex4ht, which are not in
upstream, hence it did not apply. I created a new one, it is applied
to our svn.
