Dear Maintainer,
there exist dependency to mingw-w64 build system,
and in label binary-indep is called i686-w64-mingw32-strip.
This is not nice for cross building, where not need any w64 binaries,
and typically the whole build system for i686-w64-mingw32 is never need.
Why was put the build for "gzip.exe" in binary-indep packages for a Linux system?
Please remove the dependency mingw-w64 and do not build "gzip.exe".
