OK, I applied the patch and it seems to work. ypbind runs now. :) I put up
a kernel at ftp://macduff.dhs.org/pub/cvs/vmlinux-2.2.16-100500.gz. I'll
commit the patch to CVS shortly.

What's up with this kernel?
It works, loads. no errors, and so far no bus errors...
but i lost connectivity outside the box...
ie, i can ping the card, but cannot ping www.yahoo.com
when i try the standard debian 68k kernel "linux" from the install..it
works...and thn bus error...
