All audio CDs that I create (with cdrecord) have a 2-sec pregap, which is OK
for most cases, but sometimes I would like to have no gap.
The doc'n talks of defpregap=n and pregap=n, which I have tried, and they
have no effect (it does say TEAC drives only).
Is there any way to record audio without a gap between tracks?
I hope someone can help.
Alan
The solution is to switch to a more flexible program -- I recommend cdrdao,
which you can get from http://www.ping.de/sites/daneb/cdrdao.html.
This gives you much more control over your audio discs than cdrecord ever
did.

If you use the "-dao" option (this may require a recent version of cdrecord),
there should be no gaps. Alternatively, you can use cdrdao instead of
cdrecord.
