anyone knows on how to enable >2GB file support for 2.4.3 kernel on an
mdk8.0 ??

You might need to recompile the kernel to include support for addressing
over 2Gb of Ram

The 2.4-tree already includes the necessary ext2-fixes to support files >
2Gb...
