Confused with the gating stuff

'evening everybody,

spent hours and hours now to find out, that I can't find out how to make it
work. The bounced mails are complicated to read and more confusing, than
helping, to be perfectly honest. :(
I can post to other newsgroups, but not to linux.gentoo.user.de

If I do, a message tells me, it's read-only and gated .. but it's nowhere
to read how to send messages over that gate. I know it's possible, because
there are new messages each day. I also want to ask a question but I can't
because of this confusing gating stuff.

I just want to ask a question there. Is there a step-by-step documentation
for this?
Can't be that complicated, but I do need a clue how to use that gate.
