We have a shared DS3 in our building, as well as a shared network. The
building is curently occoupied by several companies some of whom don't want
to share the costs of the connection. However they can just jack in to the
network and get online.

We can't unplug them from the central hub because they "need" to share files
with other companies that are on the network.

Is there anyway to prevent them from using the DS3?

Isn't there a way to "blacklist" their IP addresses from the DS3 Server??

If you know the IP's of the company's that are allowed or are not allowed
you should be able to setup a simple filter on the router.

You'll need to tell us more details about your connection. What kind
of hardware you're using, how you assign IP's, and anything else you
can think of so we can see the easiest way to help you.
