Developing a Network Architecture in XIA

Respected sir,

I have installed the Linux XIA network in Virtualbox but unfortunately cannot proceed with the application development. I would therefore like to know the starting point of application development in XIA. Does it have a GUI to facilitate the task of application development. 

Kindly share some tutorial or guide that can take me through the steps of application development in XIA.
