NWP and Ethernet payload limits

While not an immediate concern, how will NWP deal with broadcasting neighbour lists and announcement if the final packet size exceeds the maximum payload length for Ethernet packets (1500 bytes)?

These large messages must be broken up into as many packets as needed. Of course, all packets composing a single message must have information in their headers to enable receivers to recompose the original message.
