Description:
We are seeking QA Automation Engineer to join the Quantitative Development team. You will be part of a small team of domain and technology experts who are responsible for the ongoing development of a state of the art portfolio management application. The role is centered around automating the QA processes for testing the application.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with developers and business to translate requirements into test cases.
Create and maintain test data.
Design the test execution framework.
Build an automated test execution suite.
Generate test execution reports and track defects.
Quantify and track automation test coverage.
Work with business and support teams to investigate issues.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience with automated testing technologies and test automation best practices
Experience with Selenium or any other open source functional automation tool to test web pages and web services.
Experience with agile development and deployment methodologies
Experience with testing and quality assurance processes
Experience with integration and change management tools and procedures
Experience with SQL and Linux command line tools
Experience with complex multi-tier enterprise software deployments
High-level understanding of Java and Atlassian products useful
5+ years of relevant work experience; asset management industry experience preferred
Must be detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
