hi all,
i have to study a lot in the next months.
please keep working on what we have done.

an ubuntu user (Snepscheut) posted a ps aux output of ubuntu with working multiples ttys.
i've tried to modify the gentoo inittab to use the tty2 with no success.
i've added the -8 option and removed linux from agetty's options.

please give it a try.

i found that the tf700 it's pretty similar to our TF201.
it's so similar that his kernel run fine on the TF201 ;)
this could be a big resource: https://github.com/rabits/tf700

happy hacking guys :)

Hi guys, chrischdi here...

@tux_mind:

At my arch installation I'm also able to go to other tty's by using [STRG]+[ALT]+[FX] or do you mean another thing?

Don't waste too much time here and go studying :P

no,
it's correct. CTRL+ALT+FN.
if you use the keycodes script on the github repo, will be:
CTRL+SEARCH+FN ( where FN are the upper buttons ).
maybe it's a gentoo's agetty bug...or a feature leak.
i have to check this.
can you post this:
"ps aux | grep agetty | grep -v grep"
from your tty2?
are you using the dock or an external keyboard?

thanks.

a note for all, ( expecially Smasher816 )
the v[0-9] folders on the github repo should be modified only for correcting bugs.
please do not update v[0-9] folders in development phase.

thanks for your support guys!

Ok.

I'm using the dock with your keycodes script ;) and yes, CTRL+SEARCH+the upper buttons.

"ps aux | grep agetty | grep -v grep" had first no output for me. I had to change to them for one time and then I had the following output on tty2:
root       345  0.0  0.0   3796   672 tty3     Ss+  05:54   0:00 /sbin/agetty --noclear tty3 38400 linux
root       346  0.0  0.0   3796   672 tty4     Ss+  05:54   0:00 /sbin/agetty --noclear tty4 38400 linux
root       347  0.0  0.0   3796   672 tty5     Ss+  05:54   0:00 /sbin/agetty --noclear tty5 38400 linux
root       348  0.0  0.0   3796   672 tty6     Ss+  05:54   0:00 /sbin/agetty --noclear tty6 38400 linux
(I got the same output at tty1)
