I cannot log-in!

Hi there,

I am new here.

After installation the system prompts the green screen for logging-in, but I cannot make it! I am sure both username and password are correct, because I installed the distribution twice! It doesn't recognise the password (or the username, dunno)! Is it a bug? How can I solve it? Is there any workaround (also using the live distribution for entering the system in the HDD and modifying something)?

Sorry. I am referring to Diet Swift Linux. Any idea?

The default username and password are "demo". The default root/admin password is "root".

I thought it (it is almost the standard procedure with linux), and had already tried both, but none of them works... at this stage I have to think either my ISO image is broken (but I already downloaded and burned it three times) or something went wrong during the installation process... which,as said, I did twice.

Could you please double-check for me if there is something missing in the ISO image of Diet Swift Linux?

Are you aware of other people using DSL having encountered similar problems?

Hi Jason,

I also tried to install the "normal" Swift Linux, and had the very same problem. Either there is a bug, or a "strange" incompatibility between my laptop and Swift Linux. Any chance for automatic log-in (like PuppyLinux, for instance)? Maybe at Swift Linux next release...
