Hi everyone

For the users with Intel graphics. I activated my Intel graphics using apple_set_os.efi and gpu_switch some things are very slow, for example the Gnome OSD (only the brightness OSD) and Chromium all text boxes (for example the interface to write this post) have a lot of lag. I found this workaround  and fix my problems with the OSD but Chromium continue with its lag. If I use the AMD graphics all works very fine. Any Idea?

I haven't begun investigating using i915 yet, that's next on my agenda. We'll see if I can get vga_switcheroo working, but I doubt it'll be useful.

Hey folks.

For me personally, the "reboot to switch" to AMD for external ports is a
bit of deal-breaker. I just use the AMD video for everything as a result.

I was in a rush when I bought my computer, but in hindsight, I should
have purchased an 11,4 instead of the 11,5.

hope you are well

I continue my search and I found a better workaround (seems to be better) basically in the workaround of my first post change the accelMethod from "sna" to "uxa" I only test this today (on my work) but seems works better than sna, at least Chromium not show any lag :)

@Fortiz You're on a MacBook Pro 11,5 right? Any estimation on your battery life living without the discrete card?

Thanks,
