Boot hangs at "Switched to clocksource tsc" ?

Hi.
Does anyone experience periodic boot hangs at:
clocksource: Switched to clocksource tsc
I would see this maybe 1 in 20 startups with 4.2.x, but I get it 3 of 5
times in 4.3.
Thoughts?

Hey folks.
I found the resolution... I use an initramfs for full disk encryption, and my initramfs was missing at least one firmware image. I fixed it by adding the --firmware option to genkernel when creating the image. I use this command now, in case it helps:
genkernel --luks --install initramfs --kerneldir=/usr/src/linux-4.3.0-gentoo/ --firmware
