We had the LVM Concept all okie dokie !! But I still am wondering how
we can retreive the data for the one's which are stored in the LVM
( provided the fstab is not updated ) after we restart the system ??

Example :
We create a partition, PV -VG - LV and mounting is also done. We do
not update the fstab. and we enter some data /files into the LV. After
you loggoff or restart the system the LV is lost ( as the fstab is not
updated ) if there was an important data which we need to retrive how
do we link the same LV as we already have the data in the partition as
partition is not deleted ????

Any answers please ?? ( I am sure i might have not understood this
part in the class or lost the point when discussed in the class )....

one thing i have to say
what is actually mounting?
just we are linking actually partation to one folder which is in /
when we are writing any data to that folder we are actually writing
the data to partation(/dev/hdax)
just we are useing that folder to access the actual partation
comming to ur dought
when we logging off the link between this folder and that partation is
vanished because we didnt make an entry in to fstab file
i am saying just we lost the link between folder and partation
but the data still will be there in partation
but we cant access that partaion untill we have a link to that
partaion
so we have to provide link ie noting but mounting either it is
perminent(editing fstab) or temporary(using mount point)
any dought revert back
