አስተማሪዎቻችን በሁለት ይከፈላሉ ። እንደ ወልፍ ሌስላኡ ፤ ጌታቸው ሐይሌ ፤ ቶማስ ላምፕዲን፤ ኦገስት ዲልማን  የመሳሰሉ ቋንቋን በምዕራቡ ፈሊጥ የሚሰነጣጥቁ ምሁራን እና እንደ ዐፄ ዘርዐ ያዕቆብ ፤ እንደ አለቃ ታየ ገብረ ማርያም እንደ  ኪዳነ ወልድ ክፍሌ የመሳሰሊ የሰዋስውን ሕግ ለእኛ እንዲደርስ የጣሩ አባቶቻችን ናቸው ። ለሁለቱም እኩል ክብር ከሰጠን በእውቀት ብዙ እንጠቀማለን ። ዛሬ ወልፍ ሌስላኡን (Wolf Leslau) ላስተዋውቃችሁ ። የእርሱን አጭር መዝገበ ቃላት እዚህ አብረን እንሸመድዳለን ።  በሚቀጥለው ደግም የዐፄ ዘርዐ ያዕቆብን መፅሐፈ ብርሃን እናያለን ።  ቀጥለን ግሥ እንገሳለን ። ይህ ቀላል አይመስለኝም ። ቢሆንም አብረን ተጋድሎ ማድረግ ነው ።

መዝገበ ቃላቱ በሀ ጀምሮ በፐ ያልቃል ። ስለዚህ የፈደላችሁን ቅደም ተከተል ካላወቃችሁ ቃላትን ለማግኘት ብዙ ጊዜ ታቃጥላላችሁ ። ለምሳሌ ፈ የሚለው f መስሎኝ አንድ ቃል ስፈልግ አሥር ደቂቃ ፈጀብኝ ። ተስፋ ቆርጬ ቃሉ የለም ልል ነበር ግን ሀ ለ ሐ መ የሸመደድኩትን ጮክ ብየ ስናገር ፈ መጨረሻ ላይ ከፐ በፊት ሆኖ ተገኘ ። ለመሸምደድ እንዲመቸኝ ከካርድ ሌላ እዚህ ላይ ቃላቱን ታይፕ አደርገዋለሁ ። ለእኔ ቃሉን እንዳስታውስ ያደርገኛል ። እንድያው ለመጥቀስ ብየ ነው እንጂ ሁላችንም የሚመቸንን እናውቃለን ። አይደል ። (በግዕዝ የጥያቄ ምልክት የለም መሰለኝ ። እስከ አሁን አላየሁም )

ሁ ፡ ቅጥያ መጨረሻ ላይ ሲገባ 3rd person masc (his, its). occasionally used as definite article. Lambdin says there is no article in Ge'ez. We will debate that. later.

ሁ ፡ የጥያቄ ምልክት ይሆናል። በግዕዝ ጥያቄ ምልክት አላየሁም ። ምሳሌ ፤ ተአምኑሁ = ታምናለህን? ፤ እመሰ አንተሁ = if it is indeed thou = በእርግጥ አንተ ከሆንክ ...

ሂ ፡ also, and, further, even, the very, for one's part ምሳሌ ፡ አነሂ = for my part. ሂ  is usually attached to መኑ who, ምንት what, አይቴ where; mostly in negative sentences. መኑሂ = no one,  ምንትሂ = nothing,  አይቴሂ = nowhere. ሂ is also combined with እመ in. ምሳሌ ፡ እመሂ = though, even though, እመሂ ወእመሂ = either --- or. In the meaning 'and' it can be repeated, as in አነሂ ወውእቱሂ = both I and he, and i (ድጋሚውን ይገንዘቡ ፤ ቄንጠኛ ነው ) ።  ደግሞም ከ ሂ እና ከ ኒ ጋር ምሳሌ ፡ እሙንቱሂ ወአቡሆሙኒ = they as well as my father ( I like this )

ሃ ፡ 3rd female sing like her, its, used with  a noun ending in vowel. Also used with time ምሳሌ ፡፡ሶቤሃ =afterward,  አሜሃ = then 

ሃ ፡ accusative with proper noun. ምሳሌ ፡ ይሁዳሃ = ይሁዳም from  "the kiss of Judas". Read more on accusative with proper noun which doesn't exist in English. In English with use pronoun instead of noun. In the sentence He sees the woman, "he" is the subject of the sentence, while in The woman sees him, "him" is the object. ሆሄ ፡ letter of the alphabet. same as ፈደል ፤ ሆህያት ።

ሄላ ፡ Date cluster (can't find much on this however in Amharic it is cistern according to this : https://en.glosbe.com/am/en/%E1%88%84%E1%88%8B . ይህንን አላወቁም ነበር ።

ሀለለ ፤ ተህለለ ፡ jubilate, utter cries of joy ዕልልታን ይመስላል ። ሀ እና ዐ ተቀያይረው ይሆናል በአማርኛ ። በግዕዝ ዐለለ = 1- separate, segregate, grant a fief 2- dye, color cloth or straw often red ። ከዐለለ የወጡ ደግሞ ዕሉል ፤ ዐላል ፤ ፤ ማዕለል ናቸው ። የዕልልታን ጉዳይ የሚያውቅ አለ ።

ህላል ፡ new moon ; ህላሊ = lunar

ሃሌሉያ ፡ Hallelujah (/ˌhælɨˈluːjə/ hal-ə-loo-yə) is a transliteration of the Hebrew word הַלְּלוּיָהּ (Modern halleluya, Tiberian halləlûyāh), which is composed of two elements: הַלְּלוּ (second-person imperative masculine plural form of the Hebrew verb hallal: an exhortation to "praise" addressed to several people[1]) and יָהּ (the names of God Jah or Yah).
