As for the second error you need to have the Java Development Kit
installed and point ./configure to it. Check out ./configure --help.
Linux-biometrics subscribers, anyone have a patch? Please share with
the list and Mouhamadou Dièye.
If you don't need the GUI I imagine you can disable it with the
appropriate switch to ./configure.
