Can apfsprogs add some importants?

I want to build a distro to running in APFS partition, but I want to get the partition's volume name and uuid.

Can you add such functions? I need your help!

I need more details here. How do you intend to use this? Do you want the
uuid for the whole container, or for a single subvolume? If it's the second,
do you want it for the mounted subvolume? Or for one that is unmounted?

I want to build a distro, but the real root fs is apfs.

Some device manager can't identify the partition uuid and volume name.

It'll be hard to change initramfs root fs to real root fs
