Detecting duplicate id across layouts

Hello,

Has anyone worked on implementing Detector that will flag duplicate layout id across different layout?

I know there is this DuplicatedIdDetector that detects duplicate ids within a layout and within an included layout.

I wonder if I one should try this as "lint check" or just use some shell scripts route.
