Hello

I am new in here and new to Linrad.
I have a SDRPlay RSP2 working with SDRUno, SDRC, HDSDR

I am trying to get it up and running with Linrad. I assume this is possible. I have seen some of the videos with RSP1.
I have installed the latest software and dlls.

Following the setup procedure, when I get to setup RX input [A] and then select [I] - SDRPlay or Mirics USB dongle
I got an error message - Mirics not found.

Not sure what I may be missing.

Thanks in advance

Hello Angel,

To run RSP1 in Linrad you must replace the MSI drive
routine by WinUSB. We ue Zadig for that.

I do not know if RSP2 is compatible, but probably it is.

Hello Leif

Thank you for the info and help. I have installed and run Zadig and updated the driver to WinUSB.
After this, Linrad still does not recognise the RSP2.
SDRUNO did no longer find the RSP2 with the WinUSB driver installed.

I am running Windows 7 Pro on a Lenovo T430 for info.

Do I need to place any file in the DLL folder after the driver update? - I do not think so. Perhaps, RSP2 is just not supported by this driver.

I will try Linrad with the build in AD in my TS590s. I also have an EMU0204/G11 SDR and VAC to experiment with.
I want to do some noise figure measurements with various power supplies, ferrites chokes, grounding straps in my shack.

Hi Angel,

Please use Zadig, click the RSP2 entry and look for
the USB ID.

My RSP1 presents itself like this:

SDRplay (RSP1)
USB ID 1DF7 2500

In case the RSB2 uses a different ID I would have
to update the library. If it shows the same numbers
I do not know what to do...

Hi Angel,

I have added this ID to the list of known devices.
Please try the attached dll in C:\linrad\dll and
run the 32 bit version of Linrad with the WinUSB driver
installed for the RSP2.

Leif,

Any chance that I could get a copy of this file too please? I have the rsp2 also and need to load the driver.

I don't know if the SDRduo would work? I have that also and it shows as ID 1DF7 3020 in Zadig. I'd be happy top try thjat and see what happens.

I didn't see the attached file on the Groups post either.

Thanks,
Rick K9AO

Did we ever get a location to download the files for the RSP2?
