SSB RX and AFC

I have read in some places that AFC should not be used when in SSB mode, while in other places AFC could be activated for spur removal while not controlling the tuner when in SSB mode. 

Which is correct?

Hello Eric,

Enable AFC/SPUR/DECODE (1 or 2)

In SSB mode, set AFC lock range to 0 to disable AFC in the next menu.
Always set Enable Morse decoding to 0
