Hi All.

I have tested the  libusbK driver installed by Zadig on Linrad using Windows 10.
It works. I tested it using zero If.

From Leif:
"You must tell Zadig to install the correct driver for your
Windows system. Try one of the others. I have libusbK
for Windows 10 and WinUSB for Windows 7. You may find that
more than one of the drivers works."

Hi All.

I have found that when I unplug the USB cable from the SDRPlay and plug it back in, Linrad no longer works.
It acts like there is no antenna connection otherwise ok.
The issue is repeatable.
Roll back the driver with device manager from libusbk to msi2500.
Run SDRuno and notice good signals.
Run Zadig and install driver libusbk.
Run Linrad. Linrad works ok now until the next time the USB is unplugged.
Seems like there is some part of SDRPlay that libusbk does not control on the SDRPlay.
Again, this is on my Windows10 Laptop. You may have a different result.
Perhaps others would like to explore this a bit more?

Hi All.

I have tried several different drivers that Zadig could install and in both 32 bit and 64 bit Linrad.
I tried them in Win XP and Win7 compatibility mode.   These don't work.

I can repeat the earlier process where I first have SDRuno working and that still works.
If I set SDRuno to 28 Mhz, then change drivers, Linrad acts like a disconnected antenna.
I think this shows that Linrad does not have control of the bandpass filters in SDRplay.
At another time, Linrad came up with low sensitivity likely due to the wrong bandpass filter.
When it came up with low sensitivity I had to increase gain from 23db to 60 db to get the same results.
I think SDRplay demands the msi2500 driver for full control and Linrad does not communicate with that driver.

Hi All.

Today I installed Zadig on my Windows XP computer.
My SDRPlay has never been run on the Windows XP computer so there are no drivers for it.
I plugged in the SDRPlay to the USB port and installed WINUSB driver. The computer does not recognize it as SDRPlay
but simply USB device. Is set up linrad as in an example video for SDRPlay.
I see a display. I can work the controls but they are slow to respond. I think the PC is overworked.
I can control frequency and gain setting and I set it to 100db.
When I transmit using my Icom 706MKII into a dummy load on low power AM setting I see a spike on the display at the correct frequency.
When I connect a 144 Mhz antenna, there are no signals. I believe that in this case the bandpass filters are not set properly.
