I used r1089 in a short cw contest last night. All worked well.
Just an observation on latency compared to v5.00 -- In order to get latency low, I must set DMA rates higher than what I had in v5.00.
Windows seems more sensitive to this than Linux versions. With lower DMA rates, the parameter "buf" in the timing information window gets larger in windows.
I'm passing this hint along here in case others are trying to get low latency in v6.00pre.

Hello John,
Did you try both with and without Portaudio?
The parameter output delay margin works a bit differently now.
Did you optimise it?

I normally use portaudio in windows with v5.00. I will try with and without portaudio and also adjust output delay margin.

Hello Leif. Installed the 1089. Audio works perfectly like the earlier Linrad releases. Fighting on cw delay and until now, altough i modified the DMA parameters, i was not able to find a good result. Suggestions? Many thanks for your kind attention. 73' Francesco, IK2DDR

What hardware and operating system are you using. I use an Airspy HF+. I can share my settings for low latency/delay if it can help you.

Hello John. At least i'm only curious to solve the delay issue, but i'm able to run under WIN10 PRO my linrad releases on Network and usb. Old releases such 3.11, 3.12, 3.13 or 2.43, run with a beautiful sound on cw eme. Anyway i use Afedri . Francesco
