Blurred text in the baseband window - V6 - 1097

i am seeing the frequency digits blurred in the scale above the spectrum and below the waterfall. If I fire up and select something with 4 digits like 1110.0 then it displays clearly. If then I go to a 3 digit frequency like 840.0 these seem to overwrite the existing characters and not clear them. Same for going the reverse way.

Version 5.03 doesn't do this. There is nothing different in the par_userint file at all. I don't know if there is anywhere else to check.
