Does Linrad display phase?

Dear friends,

Does Linrad display the phase offset between two coherent CW signals?  Leif's https://www.sm5bsz.com/linuxdsp/run/polgr.htm says, "There is no numerical readout for the phase between A and B" in the Polarization Graph.  Is numerical phase displayed anywhere?

Not between two CW signals in the passband that I know of.

The phasing window does tell you the amplitude and phase that Linrad is
applying between the two tuners. This can be seen live in adaptive mode
or set manually in fixed mode.

I don't know if that is what you were asking about?

Rick - Thank you for the reply.

The underlying goal is to measure the end-to-end phase offset of my XPOL EME antenna (antennas, feedlines, relays, LNAs...).  I imagined putting a QRP carrier in the far field of the antenna.  Linrad would treat it as a single 2-channel signal rather than two separate signals.  

The phasing window shows the polarization angle of the combined channels but, "There is no numerical readout for the phase between A and B. The phase is indicated by the white line in the upper green bar of the polarization bar."  Maybe Linrad displays the phase offset somewhere else?

You'd need dual channels for that I  would think. Do you have a dual-channel receive capability?

I have a dual-channel system supported by IQ+ & UADC4 which works pretty well.  I tried many times to display values in the Phasing Window but nothing seemed to work... until just now!  I finally realized that the Polarization Window needs to be set to Adaptive in order to display current amplitude and phase offset in the blue box of the Phasing Window.

Right, setting to adaptive starts Linrad's auto optimization. Then the
values inthe blue box are live and also the phasing scope is actively
showing what the adaptive code is doing. In fixed mode you cam also
click on the phasing scope to make phase and amplitude changes, but it
is pretty coarse.

But you can also enter manual values into the phasing box red section or
using the two arrows to the left and right of the values in the blue
section increment these by fine or coarse values too.

The green section is saved values like radio presets. There are 3 of
these you can use. The < sign writes the data. The M retrieves it. You
can see what is stored in the values above the preset button.

Do you have much in the way of Linrad documentation? I have a bunch of
stuff I have saved off over the years. Some is from Leif's articles,
some from elsewhere. I still refer to this stuff now and then for a
memory jogger. Let me know if you want it and I'll zip it up and toss it
onto Dropbox.
