Hi,

I wonder if anyone has the recipe to get the sdr-iq to work with linrad under linux?

I can't do both on my 64 bit laptop or my old 32 bit laptop.
64 bit: Fedora Linux 5.5.10-100.fc30.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Mar 18 14:34:46 UTC 2020 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
32 bit: Debian Linux 4.9.0-12-686-pae #1 SMP Debian 4.9.210-1 (2020-01-20) i686 GNU/Linux

Running on both laptops now linrad 4.15.

Strangely, the SDR-IQ on the same machines works fine with GNURadio and the standard Osmocom library.

Hi Rob,

Try this command:
make sdr14

It should provide instructions.

I have found a nice way to add my SDR-IQ to linrad on a modern linux distribution.
Daniel EA4GPZ built gr-linrad. This is a fanatic tool. This allows you to link the network input from linrad to GNU Radio. GNU Radio can talk to various hardware again.

I did notice that something has changed in the linrad network function from version 4.15 compiled directly from the source. A linrad pre-4.15 version cannot talk to a 4.15.

This also applies to gr-linrad who needs a pre-4.15 to operate.
