I've modified for my needs Polarization graph. Linrad-DF may be used for radio direction finding (with Watson-Watt cross loop + vertical dipole). It now shows the azimuth of the incoming signal. A video with a short presentation can be found at this link:

If anyone would like to try it out, here is a link to the modified files:

 All changes are marked by //BPD.

It was done quick and dirty and I have no plans to develop it further. The current solution satisfies me.

Some of the changes involve the colors in some of the windows. If you don't like them, please ignore.

The base for the Linrad-DF version is rev. 1051 from:

Kind regards

Hi Piotr,

This is very interesting, thank you for sharing your revision of Linrad.  Currently I'm using a RSPduo which would need to be recalibrated at every startup for the azimuth to be correct, but have consided getting the Afedri SDR.

Great stuff Piotr. I'm using your extension to LINRAD and an AFEDRI SDR ( I've tried RSPduo but hopeless for this application) for measuring angle of azimuth and incidence using 5 Miniwhip antennas. I've tried loops but not sensitive enough. I'm measuring ZLs on 60 m.  I'll try this new SW as soon as I'm back home. Now on vacation.

For those interested in Directing finding mod.
Leif has included it to Linrad-06 which is now being tested.

Go to:
"INIT POLARISATION PARAMETERS FOR TWO CHANNEL RADIO"
Use:
"H=> Toggle phasing graph"
"I=> Toggle pol/azimuth"
And:
"J=> Graph size (8-10)"
