On the latest version 6 the invert button (the small + that changes to a - to invert the audio phase between the ears when processing is not in stereo) does not work any more. COH3 and COH4 should have this active, and the button does appear , but it does nothing.

This does work as expected in version 5.03 on COH3.

Also, the invert button is missing in normal detection mode (the blue Off is displayed) and then comes on for COH3 in version 5.03 and works well, and clicking the COH3 button takes you back to normal and the blue Off is displayed and now the invert button is still displayed and it works well.

Shouldn't it be displayed anytime the processing is in mono?

I.e. COH3 and Off in version 5 and COH3, COH4, and Off in version 6?

Hello Rick,

I have not "released" version 6 - and will probably never do so.
Time is limited, I have been diagnosed with "disseminated cancer
in the bile duct, liver, and pancreas" and will spend my time with
something I think is more valuable. Have a look here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oi9Cy1fBouE

I have seen phase noise as low as -136 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset on
a 10 MHz signal and -192 dBc/Hz at 700 kHz from a 10 MHz signal
at a power level of 120 mW (which means that the noise is well
above room temperature noise.) I will present those results
in nerds111 and it is far below what anyone has reported for
crystal oscillators before. The best I have ever seen is this:
https://bdstarpnt.com/en/product/cx910/

Today there are systems that derive a signal from frequency
division from optical sources. Here is the best commercially
available that I know of:
https://www.menlosystems.com/wp-content/uploads/MENLO_UMS-Compact_D-EN_03_2024_3w.pdf
They specify -140 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset for a 10 MHz signal.

Linrad is open source. Anyone could correct bugs and upload
new versions, or take functionality and bring into other
SDR packages.

Thanks Leif and sorry to hear about your cancer.

I was talking about the little plus and minus button that is to the left
of the 2 and 16 boxes at the bottom of the baseband window for the sound
card stereo and bit depth. It flips 180 out on one headset ear and that
appears when the mode is mono.
