This may be an old topic as I am new to this group.. I am trying to install IK7EZN's excellent Trakbox utility under Windows 7 64-bit so I can stop calling people on the wrong frequency using MAP65.. it's has happened so often to me now that I did it twice in less than 5 minutes the other night.

Anyhow, the program will not install on either of my PCs, one a Core I5 running Windows 7 64-bit and the other being an old Celeron running Windows XP. Unfortunately the error messages are in Italian and I only understand Quebecois Canadian French. Can someone please help?

Hi.

Some errors installation in windows 64bit can occur for failure to register some modules when you do not

using the amministrator user.

To correct the error just register them manually.

The modules must be in the folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64.

To register, from a CMD shell, use:

"Regsvr32 c:\windows\syswow64\MSCOMM32.OCX"

You must register all the necessary modules:

msstdfmt.dll; mscomm32.OCX; comdlg32.ocx; mswinssck.ocx

After you can run Trakbox.exe that you find in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Trakbox.

E’ da qualche settimana che non faccio attivita’ e stamattina ho installato la tua

Nuova release del Trackbox.

Non so per quale motivo, volendolo far agire anche sul wsjt, come ho sempre fatto, mi

da questa risposta, quando tento di cliccare su Linrad-Freq

Ho provato a riavviare il pc dove è montato Linrad. Ho cliccato su STOP/START.

Niente da fare. Non penso sia dovuto alla nuova installazione. In ogni caso hai per favore

Idea di quale possa essere il motivo che Trackbox non vede più Linrad?
