Dear friends,
Lately, after I finish a transmission, Linrad fails to promptly return to its previous state.  Instead, the waterfall remains black, often decorated with bright blobs.Linrad blob.jpg
Sometimes it recovers, sometime not.  Furthermore, the timf2 network data stream is often disrupted.
Setup is [ IQ+ --> UADC4 --> Linrad ] --> [ Map65 ]
                       computer #1                    computer #2

I could use some help figuring this one out.

I think I found the problem.  The dumb blanker was unintentionally engaged but not calibrated.  When I disabled it, the misbehavior stopped.

HI Mike.

The noise blanker overloads. If you turn it off that does not happen.
Looking at your waterfall it seems you have a very strong signal present for a short time.
If you look at your noise blanker numbers you will see 99.

I think I fixed that on mine by muting the IQ+ during TX.

Hi Michael,

One or the other of the vertical bars that control at what level a signal
is considered strong is set too aggresively.

Set the mouse on one or the other vertical bars on the left hand side
of the high resolution graph and press F1 (or !) for instructions.
Look for red dots in the main spectrum.
