Dear Linotype University List,
The Linotype University VIII Class will be held, September 26 - October 3, 2010 at the Working Linotype Museum and the Linotype Classroom, here in Denmark, Iowa USA, "The Center of the World."
When you are ready to learn, "How to Operate a Linotype," this week-long class is for you.
Do you have a line casting machine?
Do you work for a Company, where these line casting machines are used?
Do you work for a Museum, where there are line casting machines? In use? Sitting and gathering dust? Are they needing to be cared for?
Are you a Writer? Are you a Printer? Are you ready to set, cast and print your works on your own equipment?
Are you a Poet? And, you want to Set, Cast, Print and Sell your Poems?
Are you planning on starting up a Letterpress Printing Shop, for general printing, and type setting?
Are you ready to receive $1.35 for each line of type, which you set, cast, print, proof, correct and make ready for printing, and this does not pay for the Printers Metal, which is used, and you will be able to set and cast up to 100 lines of type per hour?
If any of these questions, are what you are wanting to learn and do, please contact me at:
