I have upgraded my LinOTP install to 2.9.1 from 2.9.0.5, but I am not seeing an option for a Push provider configuration in the application. To be clear, when I navigate to 'LinOTP Config'/'Provider Config' I only see SMS and Email options and seem to be missing the Push Provider option shown in 11.1 in the documentation... https://www.linotp.org/doc/latest/part-management/pushtokenprovider.html.

Any help would be appreciated!

-Running on centos 7, mysql and apache with basic auth.

-installed via rpm, per the 2.9.1 installation guide.

-$ yum list installed | grep lino

In the version LinOTP 2.9.1.2 the menu is included and it can be used as at https://www.linotp.org/doc/latest/part-management/selfservice/selfservice.html#application-scenario-with-the- Keyidentity-push-token.

Hi,

at least LinOTP version 2.9.1 is required - in your setup only LinOTP 2.9 ist installed. So please update the system.

Please mind - in order to be able to use the KeyIdentity Pushtoken a license is required to access the push infrastructure provided by KeyIdentity GmbH. The license can be obtained from https://www.keyidentity.com/contact-us/.

Best Regards,

Mirko

Hello,

the current implementation of the push token requires the push
architectures by Google and Apple, both are not optimized to be used by
different notification backends for a single app, so a single point of
access has to be provided to ensure a secure connection.

Since we have to secure the infrastructure to not loose access, we are
currently only able to provide the Push token to our customers to ensure
functionality and availability.

Since this is not the last iteration of either our Authenticator or the
Google and Apple notifications, this may change in the future.

We are also looking into adding more functionality in the Authenticator
App to extend its use.

Best Regards,

Rainer
