Hello,

I would like to ask what a DPW tokens is. For example, is it a hardware token or software? How are they obtained?

Searching for any information about them, I didn't find anything.

BR,
Giannis

Hi Giannis
A guy in Berlin developed the concept of the "Tagespasswort". This is a
hardware device that he designed as Open Hardware which will create a
new password every day.
You could login the whole day with this very password.

Alas, to my knowledge, he did not produce these tokens, yet.

The tokens were to be used with applications, that could not be
connected to the backend system. The idea is, that a script changes the
password in those proprietary applications every day according to the
DPW - matching the password on the hardware token.

Kind regards
Cornelius
