Hi Guys,
Just want to have a quick survey of how many community members would be keen to a ROS2 version of Linorobot. As well as individuals who'd be willing to contribute in the porting development. Any form of contribution is welcome (beta testing, software/hardware development).

I am not planning to go to ROS2 anytime soon. For my application it doesn't really add anything except probably new headaches. I am open to counter arguments!

Hello, i am a software engineer turned into a teacher and now teach advanced programming to kids. i am introducing Ros2 to my students. It would be of great help if you make a LinoROBOT based on Ros2.

Yes,I support your suggestion, as I am already starting to learn & use ROS2. I have a BOTVaC / Raspberry Pi / ROS2 described in the Cpeavy & jnugen github. I’d be willing to trial your new code on my current Raspi Noetic Linorobot now under construction.

Yes, I think ROS 2 is a must! It will take time, but ROS 2 is where everybody will be sooner or later. LINOROBOT is a great learning tool for the community!

Hi bro,
Just put the publish and subscribe function and we're ready to port all of it.
And I think we need to jump into ESP32 /RP2040/Pico teensy is somewhat expensive though :)
