IMU: ICM-20948 9-DoF IMU

The 9250 IMU is no longer being made. So I ordered a couple of Adafruit TDK InvenSense ICM-20948 9-DoF IMUs. I was led to believe that they are later but compatible. Well they are later. But they are not compatible.

Has anyone done the work to adapt Linorobot1 to this IMU? Or can you give me some tips on how to do it most easily?
