The Copier Resource Management Program (CRMP) simplifies the copier acquisition process for its customers. We stay abreast of the latest trends in the copying and printing industry and use that knowledge to create contracts that are cost effective and appropriate for our customers' needs. By serving as liaison between our customers and vendors, we ensure that contract users receive the service they are entitled to, and we analyze our customers' copying and printing needs so they acquire the appropriate equipment without having to deal with sales pressure.

All state agencies within the executive branch of state government and all state agencies that are located in facilities that are managed by the Office of Management and Budget must have a written recommendation from CRMP before they acquire a copier. CRMP will also provide consultation to any other entity that is eligible to use a state contract for copiers.

Whether you are interested in acquiring a new copier or looking to replacing your existing contract copier, please fill out the CRMP Recommendation Request form and submit it to Copier Management.

There are no month-to-month options available within the current contract and month-to-month options cannot be entered into as this may pose litigation opportunities against the State of Delaware. Please ensure you arrange pick-up of your expired copier in a timely manner within 30 days from expiration. Arrangements for ordering a replacement copier should be handled through the current state contracted vendor (see replacement information below). Once your copier is picked up, please fill out the Copier Pick-up Form and submit that as well so we can ensure the pickup of your machine has been properly documented with Copier Management records.

From what I found with my time in the managed print industry, the quickest and easiest way to find out if a printer or copier has a hard drive is through the datasheet. A Datasheet, sometimes called a spec sheet or a brochure, is a document released by the manufacture of the device with information regarding that machines recommended capabilities, volume and installed hardware.

Memory refers to a machines random access memory, or RAM. A very basic explanation of RAM is temporary memory. This does not store long term data, but instead only holds operating data for functions currently in use. Once the function is complete, the RAM is cleared of that memory. It is perfectly fine to leave this in your printer or copier when you dispose of it.

The University strongly recommends that departments acquire a multi-function device (MFD) (i.e. copier that prints, scans and if necessary fax). By acquiring a MFD the department/school minimizes its maintenance spend by eliminating the need to have multiple maintenance contracts for each piece of equipment.

If your copier is spam printing (spontaneously printing unwanted pages), please contact your Ricoh technician for quick resolution. Spam printing issues on other print devices (i.e. printers, faxes) should be reported to your local IT office.

Estimated delivery from this point is generally 3 to 5 weeks, depending on copier inventory status and accessories ordered/copier configuration.

They may also contact you asking about your printer information and request they be allowed to send you "free" toner for trial.

If you have a copier under a contract with a legitimate copier company, the representatives will already have your machine number. If the caller says they just want to verify their file information, tell them to send your representative out to verify the number themselves or that you will call your representative back with the information. Normally, at this point the caller will realize you are not falling for their scheme and hang up. Then you can contact the specific copier company representative that services your machine at the number you always use to contact them to verify whether they actually need the information.

Never authorize any company to send anything without going through proper channels first. Always keep in mind that no one is authorized to purchase items for the University without a Purchase Order, regardless of what a supplier may tell you. What features do I want with my copier?
The most common copier options are document feeder, finisher, scan, print, fax, and duplexing. Depending on the copier some of these options will come standard. Other options will increase your monthly lease cost. Please note that most of the copiers come standard with scan, fax, and print capability.

We are hiring some new employees. How can I figure out how many more copies a month we will be running?
Check out a few of your monthly invoices. Suppose you currently run 5,000 copies a month and have 20 employees. Divide the number of monthly copies by the number of current employees (5,000 (20 = 250). This gives you an estimated number of copies each employee runs in one month. Now, combine the number of current employees with new employees (20 + 5 = 25). Multiply the estimated copies per person times the total number of employees (250 x 25 = 6,250). So, you can estimate that 25 employees will be running about 6,250 copies per month if there are no major changes in your copier demands.

While the ship back process is fairly straight forward, there is a balancing act between making sure your old copier is shipped in time to avoid another bill, and ensuring you have access to a copier without interruption.

As the rental or lease term of your current copier contract expires, you can select a new machine from either Xerox or Konica Minolta on a 36 or 60 month rental term. Monthly charges will include a fixed rental fee, and a cost per copy fee, which will vary depending on your actual usage per month.

clickhouse-copier tracks the changes in /task/path/description and applies them on the fly. For instance, if you change the value of max_workers, the number of processes running tasks will also change.
