Huawei B260 Firmware Upgrade

- Wait until the installation process completes. The device will restart automatically and verify the system image. The first boot may take up to 5 minutes so be patient.
Via Dload Method
This method is suitable for users who cannot access the web interface of the device or who want to perform a clean installation of the firmware. The steps are as follows:
- Download the latest firmware file for the Huawei B260 from the official website or from a trusted source. The file name should be UPDATE.APP and it should be in ZIP format.
- Extract the ZIP file and copy the UPDATE.APP file to a folder named dload on the root directory of the microSD card. Insert the microSD card into the device.
- Power off your Huawei B260.
- Press and hold the volume up + volume down buttons first then press the power button and keep pressing all together until you see a progress bar on the screen. This will initiate the dload mode and start the update process automatically.
- Wait until the installation process completes. The device will restart automatically and verify the system image. The first boot may take up to 5 minutes so be patient.
Note: If you have a data file that contains additional features or customizations for your device, you can also flash it using either method after flashing the firmware file. The data file should also be named UPDATE.APP and placed in a folder named dload on the microSD card.
