Hello,

I have some trouble with the linkedWiki extension I have just installed today.

I use Mediawiki 1.24.2 (with PHP 5.4.39 and MySQL 5.5.41 as I use gandi simple hosting with curl enabled as I checked).

I have SMW 2.1.3 and I have installed the linkedWiki extension 2.1.0 alpha1 (with $wgLinkedWikiConfigDefaultEndpoint=http://dbpedia.org/sparql and require_once({$IP}/extensions/LinkedWiki/LinkedWiki.php" ).

The parser function #sparql and the Sparql Editor are working fine, but when I try to launch the flint sparql editor I have the following error messages, depending on the browser used:

In Mozilla Firefox, I have “TypeError: $.browser is undefined” and with Chrome “TypeError : Can’t read property “msie” of undefined”.

I have the same messages with or without the settings regarding the proxy.

With a little search, I guess it is linked with a feature deprecated in the last version of Jquery but it should not prevent flint sparql editor to work, am i wrong?  So I am not sure that it is the root of the problem.

Any idea of the origin of the bug and how to solve it?

Many thanks in advance for your answer,

Sabine.

Hello Sabine

Effitively,  the .browser call has been removed in jquery 1.9.
I will try to fix this problem this weekend.

Thanks for your message
