Can you give an example of query and the address of your endpoint ?

Thanks

Objet : LinkedWiki + Virtuoso: Problem with Umlauts

Hi there,

i've got some problems with umlauts: For example München gets "München" if I query for it within MediaWiki. This appears on both v1. and v2 Alpha.
If i do a direct SPARQL Query on the Endpoint (via Virtuoso Conductor) the Umlauts are displayed correctly.

Greets,
Simon

Hi Karima,

sorry, the endpoint is just locally available. Its a Ubuntu 13.04 machine with virtuoso-opensource (6.x) installed.
But if it helps I'm forwarding it now to this IP (could change soon)

You could use this Query and get some Umlaut Problems:
SELECT ?Titel ?name ?Typ
WHERE {
   ?name rdf:type ?Typ .
   ?name rdfs:label ?Titel
   FILTER (REGEX(STR(?name), "Attribut", "i"))
}
LIMIT 1000

This happens in any query.

Greets,
Simon

Hi

I tested with the last version of LinkedWiki in Gerrit :

It works.

May be a problem of version or you are a proxy ?

For the proxy, I can add these parameters in the config.

This is strange.. I'm now again on the master branch (git) and still it doesn't work.
Maybe some settings from other modules interfering? MediaWiki itself runs on an UTF-8 database. No other modules give me umlaut problems (ASK Queries work fine)

Which proxy and parameters? Didn't get that

Simon

You have to install Curl in your server ?

Example with ubuntu & fedora :
apt-get install php5-curl
or
yum install php5-curl
