*Dear Linkedin Toronto and Networking Members:*
Hope you are all doing well. To provide an update about the continuity
of our synergistic group's monthly meetings, I have to advise that in
this month of March our facilities incurred some heavy damage.
Portions of meeting rooms and facilities at the North York Civic Centre
where we regularly hold meetings had massive damages due to water
flooding from portions of the roof leaking due to the heavy snow fall
and also freezing rain. Repairs are ongoing. I do anticipate though,
April will be much more pleasant and we will coordinate a networking
event sometime in mid or late April.
In the mean time - I would like to encourage you to attend this
professional workshop on Body Language. As many of you know, Carla
Estifan as one of our valued members has not only provided presentations
in body language in the past, but she broke our member attendance
record by having the largest number of attendees at her presentation.
Soon after, she became a valued volunteer and facilitator, coordinating
and facilitating meetings during my absence. The group needs more
volunteers like her!
Carla regularly hosts body language workshops for corporations and
businesses, to help individuals and professionals take advantage of her
knowledge, which has proved to be invaluable to her clients. Her
sessions range from $40 - $100 per attendee, depending on the complexity
of the workshop. I have convinced Carla to give our group a heavily
discounted session of $25 per person. Please take advantage of this,
as seating is limited. Portion of the proceeds from this workshop is
being put back into this group for supplies and refreshments for our
networking events.
