Hi,

Sorry to ask this...is this tool/group still alive..??
Are there any changes done recently to this tool with any types of updates..?

I am having problems with the config options, it accepts what ever we give as the inputs and doesnot generate any relevant errors..!!
Which logs does it process...?/ Local logs or HDFS logs...??? do we need to store all the cluster logs on WE server paths..??

Please let me know if I can proceed further in using this tool or not.

I don't think anyone is actively working on it, but you're free to take the code and make whatever changes you need.  The only documentation that's available is the README files below.  The tool processes Hadoop logs, which are uploaded to HDFS using the log uploader and aggregated by the Hadoop jobs.  You need to schedule the log uploader and Hadoop jobs to run separate from the web UI.
