Questions about LIDS composition

Hi,

My name is Leandro Andrade, I'm a masters student in Brazil (UFBA).

I'm begining my master's project and I'm interested in working with composition of linked data services. I started the first readings on this topic and have some questions:

(Sorry for possible stupid questions)

- It's possible to apply composition on existing linked data providers?

For example, my input is "to find the number of the city's population with x, y coordinate". So the system will navegate in differents providers to give me this information.

- Currently what are the main challenges for composition LIDS (LOS)?

- We are working on the possibility of creating an abstraction OWL-S under linked data bases to integrate this part of Web to other WS-* semantics. What do you think about it?
