The family of 8 that visited us this past weekend is going to be moving
to another apartment soon. That is the good news. The bad news is
that they don't have what it takes to furnish the apartment (no pots,
no pans, and just one twin bed that I know of). Here's how you can
help. Just pick a room and let us know what items in that room you
would like to donate to this family. I'm going to pick the kitchen.
Read over the items that have already been offered and pick another
item from your home that you can do without. If you're like me you
have not used some items in quite a while. We are going to see how
many things we can come up with without actually having to go out and
buy stuff. I challenge you to look around and give it up. Let us know
what you have to offer and I'll let you know when and where to bring
your offered items. This is fun!!!

Laura and I have a chair (small recliner), an older DVD system with
speakers and a couch, but the couch is currently going to be picked up
by Salvation Army on Wednesday. If this family can use it, we can
cancel that pick up and give it to this family.

If they can use these things, how do go about getting them to them?
Thanks!

Kitchen: I have some pretty kitchen cannisters and some cutlery that I
would be
willing to donate to the cause.

Bedroom: Also have a twin bedspread that's green and
purple almost brand new that would be great for a girl.
