Hi Dr Gallo
Today run the link priority tool. However this error appears to me.
Use all default values. Just change the values of Core Area Value (CAV) Options of Weigth Resistance, Size Weigth, Weith Perimeter Area, and Current flow centrality weitgh (0.25 to each)

ERROR 010422: Error in processing the environment mask.

Hi Dr Gallo

My current situation is the same as the above and I used the same values/parameters. I also received the Error 010422 message, which, when opened, says "An error occurred during analysis when trying to process the environment mask, causing the operation to fail. This could occur during the conversion of a feature input mask to a raster."

I wasn't using a mask, en when I set the mask as my resistance raster there was no difference to the error.

As I hadn't chosen to generate truncated corridors in the initial Linkage Pathways mapper, I then also tried changing the Blended Priority Options so that the Truncated Corridors Weight is 0 and the Linkage Priority Weight is 1, also to no avail.

Also, I didn't include any expert opinion data or climate data inputs. Is that still okay or is that completely missing the object of the exercise?

Any ideas on how I can resolve the error will be greatly appreciated.

With thanks

Ben

Ben,

no need to address group emails to me. You can address them to "LM Community" or to nobody in particular.

And yes, it is fine to not include expert opinion data or climate data.

My first comment is to try making truncated corridors in linkage pathways first, then try this again.

Please let us know what you find.

Thanks,

JOhn

Hi all

For interest's sake, I have recently managed to run Linkage Priority successfully. All I can say is that after receiving the previously mentioned error again (with truncated corridors having been made) I set the (processing) mask in the raster analysis tab of the environment settings to the resistance raster. Other than that, I restart the PC after each time a tool has run, which also seems to avoid some errors.

Cheers

Hi All,

First off, thanks Ben for the report back!  And also for the great tip about processing mask. Sounds especially useful if the cores layer extent is larger than the resistance raster. And yes, a system restart after a model run is helpful if the system has relatively low RAM or the model has high resolution and # of cores.

All, If anyone is able to start a google doc of "troubleshooting tips and tricks" that we could crowdsource that would be great.

Others with outstanding questions, I have them starred in my inbox and am hoping to get to them soon. Am especially busy right now.  Anyone is welcome and encouraged to take a stab at questions that come through.

Thanks,

John
